Glad to be a Christian

 

 

I’m so glad to be a Christian,
And to know I’m truly free—
Free to walk with Christ, my Saviour,
Who gave His life for me.

With joy, I will obey God’s Word,
Whatever others may do,
And clothe myself with His armor,
Standing for what is true.

I will walk with those who love Him,
In sweet fellowship divine,
And fight for what is good and right,
Until the end of time.

My heart’s desire is to serve Him,
Till He takes me by the hand,
Then I’ll sing and shout His praises…
There, in the Promise Land.

Yes, I’m glad to be a Christian
And to know I’m truly free—
Free to live and serve my Master,
Who gave His life for me.
I’m so Glad to be a Christian!
