O the Love of God!

 

 

O the love of God the Father,
Making His presence known,
Casting out every fear and doubt…
As He shelters His own.
Our Creator—the Great I Am—
The Mighty God of all,
Is a loving God we can know…
So gently He doth call…
O the Love of God!

O the love of God the Son,
Guiding our steps each day,
Teaching us how to live and love…
And walk the righteous way.
The Great Shepherd—our Lord and King—
Master of everything,
Is the One who paid our sin debt…
Eternal life to bring…
O the Love of God!

O the love of God the Spirit,
Convicting us of sin,
Drawing us to Jesus our Lord…
Imparting peace within.
He speaks only of the Saviour—
Our bright and morning Star,
Ever revealing His presence…
No matter where we are…
O the Love of God!
