When We Fail
Our loving Lord doesn't judge us
For every mistake we make,
But gently guides our steps
In the paths we should take;
And when we stumble in our walk,
Our Shepherd's hand is there,
Ready to correct, comfort, and lead
In love, and tender care.
His vision is always perfectly clear
When ours is foggy and dim,
And When We Fail along the way...
We learn to depend on Him.
Lord, thank you for loving us
Though we are weak and frail,
Teach us to depend more on You,
And forgive us when we fail.
"...we have this treasure in earthen vessels,
that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
(II Cor. 4:7)
