God Always Hears

 

 

God always hears the earnest prayer
Of a lost repentant soul,
Yes, His ear is ever open…
To that sheep outside the fold.

And souls who have drifted away,
Crying out to Him in prayer,
Find that their Shepherd always hears…
And draws them back in His care.

All who walk close to the Shepherd,
Cleansed from sin, having been freed,
Enjoy the great blessings of life…
Communing as He doth lead.

Friend, as we follow Christ Jesus,
Delivered from sin and fears,
With a clear conscience, we can pray…
And know our God Always Hears.

 

 

 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask,
any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we
have the petitions that we desire of him.”
(I Jo 5:14-15)
