In Newness of Life

 

In newness of life, there is joyfulness –
Unspeakable – full of glory –
The answer to man’s quest for happiness…
Let us keep telling the story.

In newness of life, there is peacefulness,
Beyond all that we understand;
Oh, what spiritual bliss and contentment…
Imparted by the Savior’s hand.

In newness of life, there’s an Advocate,
Where the angels sing in chorus,
Sitting at the right hand of God the Father…
Making intercession for us.

In newness of life, there’s a Comforter,
Abiding with us and in us,
Helping us tunnel thru the dark valleys…
Ever present to defend us.

In newness of life, there is purity –
Hearts washed by the blood of the Lamb –
New creatures prepared for eternity…
Ready to meet the Great I Am.

In newness of life, there’s a home prepared –
Such a great and glorious place –
A place of rejoicing forevermore…
As we meet Jesus, face to face…
In Newness of Life.

 

 Jesus said: “I have come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly.”
“We should walk in newness of life.”
