Therefore, No Condemnation

 

 

Friend, have you ever done what you would not,
Had you thought more carefully?
And have you ever not done what you should,
In light of eternity?
When we live in the Spirit of our God
And follow His lead each day,
There is just no condemnation at all…
As we walk His holy way.

But when we fail to walk in the Spirit,
Straying from God’s will and plan,
Then we miss the greatest blessings of life,
And can feel His chastening hand.
Oh, to be all He would have us to be,
And to do all we should do,
May God help us to totally submit…
Live holy lives, pure and true.

It is so easy to walk in the flesh
And go our own selfish way,
But, oh, what an abundant joyful life,
Serving our Savior each day.
Hallelujah! Sin has no dominion,
When we are in Christ Jesus…
There is now, Therefore, No Condemnation…
Walking in Him…He frees us.

 

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
(Rom 8:1)
