Which Home Will It Be?

There is a dark home of the soul
For all outside the Shepherd’s fold—
A home of great misery.
Apart from the Lord, in this life,
One lives in vanity and strife—
No inner peace—never free…
It’s a dark home of the soul.

And when life on this earth is o’er,
There’s fear and torment evermore…
Having chosen Satan’s way.
Jesus is the Light of this earth,
Believe, repent, receive new birth…
Before it’s too late to pray.
Your loving Father calls to you,
Come to His Son and be made new…
He will enter your heart’s door.
You’ll be forgiven and made whole,
Brought into His glorious fold…
To rejoice forevermore…
In that bright home of the soul.

Two roads, two eternal homes, friend,
The broad one is the way of sin—
Destruction eternally.
The narrow one, the way of life,
Deliverance from sin and strife—
Forever secure and free…
Which Home Will It Be?

“Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way,
which leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.”
(Matt 7:13-14)
