Alive In Christ

 

 

Alive in Jesus Christ our Savior,
We move and have our being;
And the devil’s angels know quite well
Their time is short and fleeing.
All born again believers in Christ
Have dominion over sin,
And there’s not a demon anywhere
That can touch our hearts within…
When we are Alive in Christ.

We may walk through the shadow of death,
But our Shepherd is right there,
If one of His sheep stumbles and falls,
He lifts it with loving care.
We may not understand trials and tests,
But, soon, all will be revealed—
The curtain will be rolled back, my friend,
And nothing will be concealed…
Thank God we’re Alive in Christ.

We are rich in spiritual blessings,
For His Spirit dwells within;
O what precious Holy communion—
Christ in us, and we in Him;
Some glorious day, He’ll come again,
And the time is drawing nigh,
Let us be ready to join Him, friend,
In our Heav’nly Home on High...
Evermore Alive in Christ.
