A Song in the Night

 

 

In the trials of life, a song breaks through—
A song of vict’ry and praise…
And, oh, what that joyful song can do
To light the darkest of days!
Jesus, the Son of the Living God,
Is with us when all looks grim,
And, though the storm clouds linger about,
Our hearts can rejoice in Him…
He gives A Song in the Night.

Sing songs of praises to the Savior,
Our Redeemer, God, and King;
Give Him glory in the troubled times…
Let His joyful praises ring!
He’s God of the day, and of the night,
And He’s working out His plan;
We can know all things will turn out right,
For He holds us in His hand…
And gives A Song in the Night.

 

 “The LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime,
and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer
unto the God of my life.”
(Ps 42:8)
