Be Ye Transformed

 

 

Transformed by the power of God,
New creatures in Jesus Christ,
Our heart's desire is to please Him
And to live a holy life.
Equipped to make the right choices,
Having been saved by His grace,
We are accountable to Him
For the way we run life’s race.

The transforming work of our God
Is a work that is complete;
Our standing in Him is secure,
And we worship at His feet;
But there are times we stray away,
Leaving the good life behind,
And we can hear our Shepherd say:
“Be transformed…renew your mind.”

O be not conformed to this world’s
Alluring pleasures and schemes,
For the devil is a liar,
His offer’s not what it seems;
But be transformed, my Christian friend,
By renewing of your mind,
And enjoy true pleasures of life...
In green pastures, come and dine…
Be Ye Transformed.

 

 “Be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect
will of God.”
(Rom 12:2)
