As You Look to Him

 

When the road gets rough
And the way is tough,
And you feel so all alone,
Lift your eyes above
To the God of love…
He will make His presence known.
No matter how dark the night, friend,
No matter how rough the road,
God’s tender care is without end…
He’ll lift your heavy load…
As You Look to Him.

When you walk with Christ
In a brand new life,
There is never need to fear;
Whatever may come,
You’re safe in God’s Son…
His Holy Spirit is near.
Troubles and trials come to us all,
But, oh, how great it is
Just to know our Lord is with us,
And to know we are His.

Yes, the road gets rough
And the way is tough,
But you are never alone;
Our Father above
Is a God of love,
And He takes care of His own.
There is no valley that’s too deep
For His hand to reach you there,
No mountain is too steep to climb,
No burden too great to bear…
As You Look to Him.
