Do You Really Know Him?

 

 

Do you really know the Savior?
Have you heard His clear call?
Have you met Him at Calvary
Surrendering your all?
Do you know Him in His fullness?
Do you have His peace, friend?
Does His great love abound in you?
Is there joy deep within?
Do You Really Know Him?

It’s not by works of righteousness
We enter heaven’s door;
But by the precious blood of Christ,
We live forevermore.
When we stand before the Father,
Will we hear His “Well done”?
Or will He say, “Depart from me,
You never knew my Son.”
Do You Really Know Him?
And does He know you?

 

Jesus said: “Many will say to me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name
done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
“But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God
perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”
(Matt 7:22-23; 1 Jn 2:5)
