Kingdom Living

 

Kingdom living is receiving
And relying on God’s Son,
Walking in His glorious Light,
Thanking Him for all He’s done.
It is worshipping every day,
Believing God’s Holy Word,
Standing on precious promises...
Praising Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Kingdom living involves giving,
First our heart to God each day,
Then gifts, talents, time, and money,
As we trust Him and obey.
It involves genuine loving—
Bearing the fruit that’s within,
Reaching to a perishing world…
With Truth that breaks chains of sin.

Kingdom living involves fighting
Those spiritual wars we face,
But empowered by Christ, our Lord,
We have all-sufficient grace.
It involves steep mountains to climb,
And deep valleys to walk thru,
But our Shepherd is with us, friend…
Oh, how He loves me and you.

Kingdom Living is abundant life
Right here, and on Heaven’s shore;
A glorious life with Jesus Christ…
Today and forevermore.

 

 Jesus said: “I have come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly.”
(Jn 10:10)
