Good Shepherd Indeed!

 

 

Christ is the Good Shepherd indeed!
He always knows just what we need…
And when we need it, my friend.

For the lost, wayward sheep He came,
Knowing and calling each by name…
With a love that knows no end.

In the green pastures He feeds us,
Beside still waters He leads us…
As He tends His flock each day.

When we walk thru valleys He’s there,
Lifting heavy burdens we bear…
And guiding us all the way.

Our loving LORD never slumbers,
The hairs of our head He numbers…
Yes, He knows just what we need.

On our Shepherd we can rely,
Nothing misses His watchful eye…
He’s the Good Shepherd Indeed!

 

 Jesus said: “I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”
“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep,
and am known of mine.”
(Jn 10:11, 14)
