He Loves You and Me!

 

 

Our merciful God lifted us
Out of the miry clay,
Planted our feet on Solid Rock…
And established our way.
He made us joint heirs with Jesus,
Imputed righteousness,
Gave us new life in His Kingdom…
A life of holiness.
Oh, how He loves you and me!

He is with us thru the valleys,
He hears each time we pray,
And, in fiery trials, He gives strength
Sufficient for the day.
Abundant life is ours right here,
As on Him we rely,
And His return is very near…
We’ll join Him in the sky.
Oh, how He loves you and me!

In that glorious Land so fair,
His face we shall behold,
There where our mansion is prepared
On those streets of pure gold.
Could He have done more, Christian friend,
Than He has done for us?
Let us lift our voices in praise…
Singing that great chorus…
“Oh, How He Loves You and Me!”

 

 “He brought me up…out of an horrible pit,
out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock,
and established my goings, and he hath put a new song
in my mouth, even praise unto our God”
(Ps 40:2-3)
